It was a distinct honor for Mr. Murat Wahab, Founder and Principal of Hakim Saya: Your Global Funding Partner, to attend a dinner event at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco featuring the esteemed Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, along with Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Minister of International Trade & Investment, and Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications & Digital. This gathering also included notable dignitaries and members of the Malaysian diaspora and student community.

During this event, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim shared an insightful perspective on his visit to San Francisco for the APEC 2023 Summit, including his successful endeavors in securing a remarkable RM63 billion (USD 13.5) in investments for Malaysia.

The recent investment developments include a significant portion of RM8.33 billion (USD 1.78) resulting from a trade and investment mission to the U.S. conducted prior to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2023 forum. These investments were made by prominent companies such as Abbot  Laboratories, Mondelez International, Amsted rail, Hematogenix, PerkinElmer, Ford Motor Company, Boeing, Amazon Web Services, Enovix, and Lam Research.

Additionally, substantial investments were also secured through one-on-one meetings with leading technology companies, including Google, Enovix Corporation, Microsoft, TikTok, and TPG. This news was shared with the Malaysian media at the conclusion of the official U.S. visit.

He emphasized the valuable contributions of the Malaysian diaspora, encouraging the utilization of their expertise for the benefit of Malaysia, whether they reside in the U.S. or plan to return to their homeland.

The enthusiasm of the Malaysian diaspora and students in engaging with the Prime Minister was palpable, especially during the interactive Q&A session. The Prime Minister's approach to leadership and his candid, unscripted communication style were particularly inspiring. His dedication to serving without a salary, accepting only an allowance, underscores his commitment to Malaysia's progress and well-being. He has demonstrated the essence of servant leadership.

Mr. Wahab was profoundly grateful for this unforgettable experience and the opportunity to witness firsthand the leadership of Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim. His efforts, along with those of the Unity Government, hold great promise for Malaysia's future.

Mr. Wahab extends his deepest appreciation to the Prime Minister, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, for this memorable evening and the enduring inspiration it provides.
