Our mission at Hakim Saya: Your Global Funding Partner is to facilitate Access to Financing for domestic and international companies.

Our Story

Hakim Saya: Your Global Funding Partner is a boutique business finance consulting firm in San Francisco. The firm was founded by Murat Wahab, an experienced commercial banker, entrepreneur, business advisor, and hotelier. The name "Hakim Saya" was chosen in memory of Murat's nephew, Hakim, who passed away at the age of 16 due to a tragic car accident. Murat hoped to provide Hakim with educational opportunities in Malaysia that he wouldn't have otherwise had, and his goal was to see him through college in the United States.

Hakim Saya: Your Global Funding Partner, aims to honor Hakim's memory by spreading happiness and positivity, doing good deeds, and connecting with like-minded individuals, both in business and friendship. In addition to this, the firm aims to support local and international companies by providing unique and creative solutions to solve four significant challenges faced by founders, entrepreneurs, business owners, project owners, sponsors, developers, and builders:
  1. Lack of Access to Capital
  2. Banks' strict lending parameters result in most banks rejecting eight out of ten funding requests they receive.
  3. Entrepreneurs lack time to navigate the complex lending solutions available to them.
  4. Difficulties in securing project financing for ground-up construction due to the lack of cash equity needed to complete the projects.
Hakim Saya: Your Global Funding Partner strives to be a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs, business owners, project sponsors, developers, and borrowers seeking access to financing.

The firm's core competencies include the following:
  • Facilitating access to financing for domestic and international companies.
  • Providing project financing through select direct lenders for domestic and international companies.

  • Placing a strong emphasis on relationship management, believing that relationships are the most important aspect of business and life.
  • The firm strives to establish long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
